The new year is right around the corner, and many people have already started creating their lists of New Year’s Resolutions! Making a promise to yourself for the new year can be incredibly exciting, and on a similar note, we would like to share some ideas on how you can incorporate more Zen into your life in 2017!

  1. Something we find to be beneficial, is making sure that you set aside some time every day that is just for you. If you have a bit of extra time in the morning, spend it planning how you would like your day to go, and use some time just to be alone with your thoughts.
  2. Planning your meals ahead of time can make you both healthier and happier! If you commit to make time for this, you will find that you will no longer be stressed out about what you’re going to eat for your meals.
  3. Make time to rest! Sometimes, we all need a nap. If you find that you are a little tired, take a short nap. You will find that it makes a positive impact on your energy levels for the rest of day, and will typically put you in a better mood!
  4. Get out and enjoy some fresh air. If you have an extra 15 minutes, take a walk around your community. To make the walk even more peaceful, leave your phone at home! This way, you won’t have any distractions.
  5. Create a serene and tranquil environment in your home. This can be done by adding earth-toned colors to your décor, green plants, or an indoor water feature. One of our products that adds a lot of Zen to a room, is our 500WM bubble fountain.
  6. Incorporate cardio or yoga into your day. Even if it’s only 15 minutes, your endorphin's will kick in, making you feel more relaxed. Getting into an exercise routine can also make you feel like you’ve accomplished a little more for the day!
