Donate To Autism Speaks By Purchasing A Bubble Panel

As you may already know, we have been running a campaign since March 10, 2017 where we are donating 10% of your total purchase price to Autism Speaks. We wanted to remind you that you still have time to contribute, and if you’re thinking about buying a bubble panel, now is the perfect time to do so! This campaign will be running until April 10, 2017.

Since April is World Autism Month, we decided to get involved by donating 10% of your total bubble panel purchase price to Autism Speaks, a group that is dedicated to advancing research into causes and better treatments for autism spectrum disorders. You can learn more about them and their mission here.

At Autism Speaks, they define autism spectrum disorder as “a range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication, as well as by unique strengths and differences.” Autism can be diagnosed as early as 18 months, and it’s most-obvious signs generally appear somewhere between ages 2 and 3.

  • On average, autism costs a family $60,000 a year.
  • In the United States, autism is one of the fastest-growing developmental disorders.
  • 1 in 68 children are affected by autism.
  • 1 in 4 boys are affected by autism.
  • 1 in 189 girls are affected by autism.
  • Boys are nearly five times more likely than girls to have autism.
  • Approximately one third of people with autism remain nonverbal.
  • Approximately one third of people with autism have an intellectual disability.
  • Currently, there is no cure for autism.

If you’re planning to purchase a bubble panel between now and April 10th, simply use the following code at checkout: DONATE. As we mentioned, 10% of your total purchase price will be sent to Autism Speaks!
